I have been trying to help people to be aware of what they are thinking because we are thinking ALL the time, and your thoughts are much more closely connected to you than they are to anyone else. So take care with them! They do actually affect you! Even if your negative thoughts are about someone else, the person who is most harmed by those thoughts is YOU. Your thoughts have a way of becoming your reality, even without conscious effort on your part. Your thoughts have a way of directing your actions, even though you may not have intended for them to do so. Remember that from the time you open your eyes in the morning you can train yourself to think better things just by asking yourself several times a day "What Am I Thinking?" and channel your thinking in a more positive direction. Take control of your thoughts. Don't waste too many of them on frivolous and trivial things. Make sure they don't lead you into anything negative or destructive . Use your thoughts to improve the quality of your life and the world around you. They're powerful, and they are yours to control and direct. Make the most of your thoughts and the new quality of your life will reflect the effort. I have been challenged of thinking too deeply....I wasn't aware of being like that and I don't think there is anything further from the truth, but I do want to prove everything I am going to be bothered to believe in, so I guess I do research and investigate until I am happy with the outcome . I am a great believer in making every day count, even in small ways...just so that it isn't wasted. Just a smile or a word in the right place can bring about a result that would never have happened if you hadn't handled things that way.....doesn't that prove that you can make a difference?? On rare occasions I have been challenged and criticised about the work I am doing......does that hurt? No!.... everyone is entitled to their own opinion! Why should I allow other people to hurt me??? In the majority I have amazing feed back from people who have changed their lives dramatically by seeing things differently and acting differently....complete strangers have contacted me to say that they have taken control of their lives and are now thinking differently. Not everyone moves at the speed of sound, however, and it took two years before one of my clients actually decided that he was living a life he hated because of his choosing, so he made the changes required and had IMMEDIATE results. I believe it is safe to say he was impressed!! Every single one of us is different, unique, and very special. We just have to make a daily choice to appreciate that..... I can help you to see things differently. When bad things happen....and they sometimes will!...ask yourself "What am I to learn from this?" The answer will be interesting!! Till the next time,..... take care! Violet King......Personal Confidential Counsellor.
